comfortable movement

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and you were able to share it with family and friends.

Not that we haven’t been hearing about holiday shopping since before Halloween, but today marks the “official” start of the holiday shopping craziness! This year I don’t have alot of shopping to do…just a few things to pick up for my niece and nephew who are getting older and have very specific “wish lists.” Bummer!

However, since I am on a few days vacation I will be getting out today to take in the crowds and enjoy the holiday spirit. Besides, I really need to walk after all the eating yesterday!! So, comfort (and style) will be key. I’m pairing skinny distressed jeans with a comfortable graphic t-shirt. Low-heeled booties with a fun pattern add some interest and will allow me to comfortably walk all day. Since I’m not on the East Coast right now, I’m tossing on a long flowy sweater for impact. My Jennifer Haley fringe crossbody bag adds the right amount of style to finish off the outfit. And, even though I am away, my Mio Studio earrings are always on hand along with my Stella and Dot bracelets!

Please try to save some of your shopping for Saturday and support Small Business Saturday in Lancaster or in whatever city you might be in this holiday weekend. The local shops really make all the difference and they need everyone’s support!

Enjoy the weekend and keep warm if you’re on the East Coast!
